About the role - Youth Mentor -Lewisham

In addition to gaining experience in a school setting environment, this is an excellent role for Youth Mentors. Supporting challenging behaviour children in a secondary school is what you'll be doing. Your responsibility will be to oversee their academic and behavioural needs. Youth Mentors should be approachable since they have the potential to be a student's point of contact or someone who can be trusted to answer their questions and concerns. Since these students look up to you as a Youth Mentor, you need to be a strong positive role model. While assessing the health, social, and emotional needs of youth, youth mentors organize educational programs and youth recreational activities. Plan and manage community events and run social events for those who struggle with their social life, health issues, or antisocial behaviour.
