The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Youth Justice Case Manager to oversee a caseload of youth justice cases, managing both out-of-court disposals and statutory court orders in line with the National Standards and the HMIP Inspection Framework. This role involves delivering trauma-informed practice, effective case management using AssetPlus, and developing interventions that build foundations for change and reduce the risk of re-offending
Key Responsibilities

Case Management:
- Manage a varied caseload of youth justice cases, ensuring compliance with National Standards and HMIP Inspection Framework.
- Utilize AssetPlus as the primary assessment and planning tool to create tailored intervention plans.
- Implement trauma-informed practices to build foundations for change and address desistance factors.

Intervention & Support:
- Employ a Child First, Offender Second approach to support children and young people through their disposals or court orders.
- Deliver evidence-based group and individual interventions/programmes designed to reduce offending behaviors and prevent disengagement from education, employment, and training.

Communication & Collaboration:
- Maintain effective communication with children, young people, their families, and both internal and external partners.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure a holistic support system and optimal outcomes.
- Represent the organization in court and at panel meetings, preparing and presenting Pre-Sentence Reports, Stand-Down Reports, and Panel Reports as required.
