The Role - Youth Support Worker

We are looking for an inspirational Youth Support Worker to join a challenging SEMH School starting ASAP on a long term basis. For this Youth Support Worker, you must have at least 1 years' experience working with children with challenging behaviour, this does not necessarily have to be within the classroom setting. To be a successful Youth Support Worker you must be able to think on the spot and act quickly should a challenging situation arise and must be able to build positive rapport with students to ensure successful outcomes. Due to the nature of the students, Physical Intervention Training is highly desired for the position of Youth Support Worker.

This SEMH School is situated in the London Borough of Wandsworth close to Tooting Bec station. This successful SEMH School caters for between the ages of 5 - 19 with SEMH and Challenging Behaviour. Students have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or Statement of SEN for social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This SEMH School is easily accessed from all points of London and has an on-site car park.
