Job Role

To deliver as part of a team projects across the borough as directed, that provides year round, universal and targeted youth activities and programmes, using a variety of methods centre based, universal and targeted youth activities and programmes, that enable the formal and informal learning and personal and social development of children and young people primarily aged 11+ and up to 25 with SEND

To work with the team lead, support and assist in administrative tasks including providing information (verbally or in writing), and reporting on the work, supporting the planning and delivery of youth activities and ensuring that youth activities and programmes are published in a timely fashion, and delivered to a high standard.

To achieve delivery of any apportioned performance targets that relate to the youth activity and programmes, collating data and information on young people attending the project / programme, ensuring that data is regularly inputted onto the service MIS database, preparing statistical reports as and when required to verify and evidence delivery and the quality of work being undertaken.

To provide individual and group support to young people through assessing the needs of individual/ group of young people through 1:1/ group support; undertaking the development and monitoring of individual learning plans, mentoring, and coaching young people and working in partnership with other agencies to deliver interventions, providing feedback where required.
