My client who's a leading financial organization is looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to join their team. This is an exciting contract role offering a day rate of 526 (via umbrella), with a hybrid working model (3 days onsite in London or Newcastle).

Key Role Highlights:
Provide 2nd-level application support for financial systems, including vendor and in-house solutions.
Work with technologies like MS SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and PowerShell, in Windows Server environments.
Support mission-critical systems for over 1,000 business users.
Collaborate with 1st/3rd-line teams and vendors to resolve issues and escalate when necessary.


Key Requirements:
Mandatory: CRM deep-dive experience (preferably with MS Dynamics).
Expertise with SQL, Microsoft Server Platforms, and automation tools like PowerShell.
Knowledge of financial systems, including SWIFT messaging (advantageous).
Experience in high-pressure application support environments, ideally within the financial sector.
ITIL qualifications and/or STEM background are preferred.


Additional Information:
Shift flexibility required: shifts include 07:30-15:30, 08:00-16:00, 09:00-17:00, or 10:00-18:00.
On-call rotation, including overnight/weekend support, is part of the role.
