Overview
We are seeking an IT Applications Support Specialist to join our team, focusing on the support of IT applications, architecture, and comprehensive end-to-end solutions. This position involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of core banking applications and related infrastructure. The role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of banking systems, providing both technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain core banking applications and related infrastructure.
- Develop, implement, and troubleshoot technical solutions for banking products and services.
- Ensure seamless integration of systems (including APIs, automation for data extraction, and bulk data handling).
- Provide day-to-day application support, including data lookup scripting and technical issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT operations and improve system performance.
- Manage changes through approved change management processes, ensuring all updates are executed efficiently.
- Oversee release management processes, ensuring structured and successful releases.
- Manage third-party vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Technical Competencies
- Hands-on experience in FinTech development, SQL and database management and Python and Java scripting.
- Strong skills in integration, particularly with APIs, and automation related to data extraction and handling large volumes of data.
