The Role
They are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Analyst / Oracle – PL/SQLDeveloper to join their dynamic London team. You’ll play a key role in analysing business requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring seamless implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse complex business requirements, creating functional and technical specifications for software and data structures
- Apply innovative problem-solving skills to tackle challenging requirements and enhance strategic solutions
- Partner with developers to ensure the successful implementation of requirements
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth operation of systems
- Script and develop procedures for data migration projects

The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- Advanced Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills, especially in ETL processing.
- Exceptional communication skills for bridging technical and business domains.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills for writing functional and technical specifications.
You may also have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a numerate subject
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Unix) and knowledge of Java, JavaScript, JSON, REST API, HTML, and GitLab
- Familiarity with high-performance systems, big data, and financial messaging (ISO20022, FIN)
- Business knowledge in the banking sector, including reconciliation and cash management systems
