Job details:
- My client is seeking to migrate the order capture backend solution of an acquisition from MySQL and multiple services to their in-house retail management solution (ab-initio) on IBM I
- They require an Application Architect to:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Design architecture & migration path that meets the project's requirements
- Lead the end-to-end migration process, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
Soft Skills:
- Highly organised and able to tackle things without supervision.
- Ability to work both independently as well as collaborating in a fast-paced team environment where technology and customer requirements can change.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
