Front Office Application Architect

Our UK leading Financial Services client is looking for a Front Office Application Architect to join their team to be accountable for the Capital Markets architectural vision, strategy and blueprint, which will enable the Asset Management function to meet its objectives. Senior Business Analysts looking to make the step into Architecture will be considered.Some of the key responsibilities:
- Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the architectural framework for Front Office systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. Work with other Group and AM architects as required to turn business problems into architectural design, drawing links between problems to reach common solutions.
- Technology Integration: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to integrate new technologies and platforms that enhance trading, portfolio management, and client reporting.
- Innovation: Show an awareness and understanding of opportunities for innovation with new tools and technologies to improve business and colleague outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Front Office teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Act as a vocal advocate to communicate the Capital Market architecture strategy and blueprint within AM and the wider Group, as required.
Experience required:
- Experience in a technology role within Asset Management
- Strong understanding of Front Office functions, including Trading and Portfolio Management
- Proficient in Architectural Design Principles
- Experience of working with Aladdin, BlackRock systems preferred
- Knowledge of Capital Market products (including derivatives)
