Infrastructure Architect - Remote Working - Inside IR35

Our client, a global consultancy, are currently looking to hire an Infrastructure Architect to join the team on a contract basis. This role would be fully remote working.

Skills & Experience:

  • Technical leader with a strong technical background.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering complex programmes of work.
  • Demonstrable experience in Solution Design with at least 5 years of experience in an Infrastructure Architecture role (TA/SA).
  • Demonstrates proficiency through experience and valid industry certifications.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Identifies, understands and quantifies technical risk and advises on strategies to mitigate that risk.
  • Ensures that all the agreed business requirements to be satisfied by a project are implemented in the overall solution, are traceable and are compatible with the project's technical architecture.
  • Works well under direction and unsupervised.
  • Ability to manage stress and operate to a high standard in high-pressure environments.
  • An understanding of data analysis.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering quality technical artefacts.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, including frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Demonstrable experience in contributing to technical roadmaps.
  • Broad and comprehensive understanding of technology, with in-depth knowledge in key areas such as Microsoft (365/Exchange/Azure/M365/AD), Cloud, Citrix, Cyber Security
  • Good understanding of the technology market and trends.
  • Good stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation.
  • Working knowledge of technical governance.
  • Can-do attitude with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Health and government sector exposure preferable.
