We are looking for a solution architect to help with implementing a new cloud lecture capture solution. The role will involve working with various business and technical stakeholders on the overrarching design, the changes needed to integration with various lecture-related systems and to ensure the platform can scale across the many teaching rooms.
The key skills we are looking for are:
- Experience of delivering enterprise cloud solutions for large organisations.
- Higher Education experience is highly desirable.
- (Desirable) Experience with lecture-capture or enterprise-scale audio/visual-related technologies. Example candidate technologies would be Panopto (#1), Kaltura, Yuja, Sonic Foundry.
- Background as application developer with experience RESTful API design.
- Experience of integrating on premise applications with SaaS
- Able to advise on best practices for process, architecture, integration and technology co-existence.
- Background in Application Architecture with experience of modern integration strategies, techniques, and designing using a variety of protocols including REST.
- Experience with Amazon AWS / MS Azure platform and related integration services highly desirable.
- Ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including technical teams, business users, and senior management.
- Has worked in a large agile-based delivery environment.
- Comfortable working on multiple deliverables simultaneously.
Hybird working, adverage of 20% onsite, 2-3 days per week.
