The position is for an experienced Angular / Web UI Developer on a 12-month contract with a prominent Investment Bank located in Canary Wharf, requiring three days onsite work per week.
Candidates should have strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Typescript, and Node/NX, along with experience in Agile TDD environments.
The role involves collaborating with Sales, Trading, and Quants stakeholders to redevelop a core trading platform and implement a scalable pricing tool.
A salary of £500-£600 per day is offered for this position, and candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, CI/CD tools, and experience in Java or Scala programming would be advantageous.

Angular Developer - Investment Banking - 12 month contract - Canary Wharf Hybrid 3 days onsiteI am looking for an experienced Angular / Web UI Developer for an immediate 12 month contract with a well known Investment Bank.They have a unique opportunity to work on the redevelopment of one of their core trading platforms. You will be working closely with Sales, Trading, and Quants stakeholders across global locations to design and implement a cloud-enabled, scalable pricing tool amongst other things.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Typescript, Node / NX and other related technologies
Strong experience of working in Agile TDD environments
Excellent knowledge of Systems Engineering, Build & Release Management and CI/CD principles
Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Teamcity, Jenkins, and Stash.
Experience of Java or Scala programming would be an added advantage
Familiarity with globally distributed n-tier platforms.
Understanding of cloud technologies and service discovery mechanisms.
