Application Engineer (Atlassian JIRA) London / WFH to £65k

Do you have expertise with the Atlassian suite, including JIRA?

As an Application Engineer you'll be responsible for maintaining and updating Atlassian systems (JIRA, JIRA Service Management, Confluence), including testing and execution of project migrations, installations and upgrades. You'll proactively optimise system performance through regular clean-ups, provide 3rd line support, create and manage JIRA workflows, project screens, schemes and fields and provide expertise to users on optimal usage including creating technical documentation and user guides.

This is an impactful role where you'll oversee all technical aspects of the Atlassian estate and support the broader portfolio provided by Enterprise IT to their developers across the globe.

Location / WFH:

You'll be joining a friendly diverse team, collaborating with colleagues both in London and Malta. There's a hybrid work from home policy with 2-3 days a week in the Central London office; when there you can enjoy a range of first class facilities and a sociable team environment.

About you:

  • You have an advanced knowledge of the Atlassian product suite including JIRA, JIRA Service Management, Confluence
  • You have strong experience in configuring JIRA projects for multi-disciplinary teams, including customising workflows, permissions, screens and issue types
  • You have experience with Atlassian installations, upgrades and migrations
  • You're proficient with PostgreSQL, JavaScript, JQL and have experience with EazyBI for JIRA, Rich Filters for JIRA, and ScriptRunner for JIRA
  • You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
