AR Developer

Job Title: AR DeveloperLocation: London (On-site)

I’m currently working with a multi-award-winning company in the Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising industry, and they are looking to bring on an AR Developer to join their innovative, fast-paced team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a creative powerhouse, delivering high-profile campaigns that blend cutting-edge technology with immersive brand experiences.

The company specialises in pushing the boundaries of traditional advertising, working with some of the biggest names across Northern Europe. As part of this team, you’ll be developing AR solutions, mixed reality experiences, and mobile-based apps for a range of blue-chip brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers and designers to develop bespoke AR and immersive experiences, including mobile AR and mixed reality.
• Prototype technical concepts quickly to aid client proposals.
• Work closely with programmers to scope, develop, test, and support digital advertising campaigns.
• Build and deploy projects that range from mobile AR to interactive, data-driven experiences displayed on large digital screens.
• Provide technical support to project management teams and lead integration calls with external partners.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to R&D projects.
• Occasionally provide support for evening or weekend campaign launches.

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience with AR tools like Adobe Aero, Niantic 8th Wall, and Lens Studio.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity would be a plus.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, XML, JSON, and experience with web application frameworks like next.js.
• Familiarity with web security and data protection protocols is beneficial.
• A strong communicator who can transform creative ideas into technical solutions.

Additional Information:This is an on-site role in London, with the occasional need to work outside of standard hours to support campaign launches.
