Position Overview

Job Title Senior Engineer - Foreign Exchange (FX)

We're looking for a Lead Front end Developer in FX, to work with this thriving FX FinTech business as they expand their Frontend software engineering team. They are also hiring from a front-end engineering manager as part of this growth

You will be at the forefront of innovation, where you will gain invaluable experience in scaling and optimizing a robust system and be a part of a talented team dedicated to shaping the future of technology in finance.

Technologies:

  • C# .Net
  • AWS - High utilisation of various services
  • Frontend - React, S3, CloudFront, Storybook, Webpack, Typescript
  • DevOps & CI/CD - Codepipeline, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, DataDog, PagerDuty, Cloudwatch, Sonarqube, Snyk, CodeArtifact

Your key responsibilities

  • Designing and developing new functionality with C#.Net
  • Conducting peer reviews to ensure designs and code are fit for purpose, extensible & re-usable
  • Learning and digging into details of the FX business to grow as a subject matter expert
  • Investigating and fixing production incidents, drive stability and monitoring improvements.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience and excellent knowledge of C#.NET, Salesforce.com and AWS, Typescript
  • Team player, open to collaboration, ability to work in distributed teams and lead engineers
