Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the existing team on a brand-new project.
This role is based in London.
This role will be Via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.
What You'll Do
- This Role will be working in a Mobile Test Environment Software Engineer with DevOps focus
- The team is seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in DevOps and a willingness to expand into mainframe and DataPower analysis.
- This role primarily involves managing mobile test environments and conducting in-depth analysis of issues related to DataPower, mainframe systems, and AWS The candidate will play a key role in troubleshooting and ensuring the stability of these environments, while also contributing DevOps expertise to enhance our processes.
Key DevOps Skills Required:
- Kubernetes: Hands-on experience in managing and orchestrating containerized applications.
- Terraform: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for resource management and automation.
- GitLab CI/CD: Skilled in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating workflows.
- GitLab: Experience with version control, branch management, and repository management.
- Python: Competent in scripting and automation tasks.
- Docker: Ability to containerise applications and manage containerised environments effectively.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong DevOps skill set with the ability to adapt and learn mainframe and DataPower systems to the extent required for issue investigation and problem resolution.
- Analytical mindset with experience in problem solving.
- Willingness to cross-train and delve into mainframe and DataPower where required, while bringing modern DevOps practices to the team.
