About the Role

Salt Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Developer for an exciting contract opportunity with a non-profit organisation that provides essential services to the community. This is a hands-on technical role, ideal for a developer who enjoys system optimisation, customisation, and automation within Dynamics 365.

The organisation has been using Dynamics 365 for several years, but the system requires optimisation and restructuring to improve workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and ensure long-term scalability. This role will involve both technical development and system analysis to enhance the CRM's functionality and usability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and optimise the existing CRM: Review the current Dynamics 365 setup, identify inefficiencies, and streamline redundant fields.
  • Hands-on development and customisation: Build and implement workflows, plugins, Power Automate flows, and integrations to enhance system functionality.
  • Data model optimisation: Ensure Dataverse entities and data structures are scalable and efficient.
  • Resolving CRM issues: Address data duplication, inconsistent references, and system inefficiencies.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Work closely with internal teams to gather requirements, scope out work, and implement structured solutions.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Developer with strong hands-on technical expertise.
  • Background in Power Automate, Power Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Dataverse.
  • Skilled in C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and Azure for custom development and integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in social housing, care, or public sector environments is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to work on-site in North-West London 2 days per week.
Why Apply?
  • A highly hands-on development role with a well-established organisation.
  • An opportunity to work on a meaningful project that impacts real people's lives.
  • A chance to make a difference by streamlining and improving a critical system.
  • Long-term opportunity - initial 6-month contract, but highly likely to extend.
