Title: Systems Developer

Working Model - Fully remote (with the occasional meeting in Central London)

Salary - £70k (DOE)

We're seeking a motivated Systems Developer with FileMaker, Tableau, and Excel experience to join our client's technical team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain integrated systems and collaborate with internal teams to meet business objectives. The candidate should be eager to learn and adapt to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain internal systems.
  • Design and develop new customer-facing systems.
  • Test and review new opportunities and datasets.
  • Look for ways to improve productivity.
  • Reporting internally and to our funders.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the infrastructure team.

Functions:

  • Administer, develop, maintain, troubleshoot and document a complex FileMaker system.
  • Integrate solutions with numerous APIs and third-party service providers, emphasizing automation.
  • Lead future FileMaker migration and integration projects.
  • Manage FileMaker server and resources.
  • Work closely with business teams to define, prioritize, and implement new enhancements.
  • Create custom reports and assist with data extraction.
  • Data mapping and integration.
  • Protect databases from unauthorized data manipulation and ensure data privacy and protection.
  • Maintain and monitor backup schedules.
  • Secure systems from vulnerabilities through patching and updating FileMaker product suite.
  • Review and audit FileMaker monitoring logs to improve performance.
  • Serve as technical point of contact for FileMaker projects.

Skills:

  • 5 years of professional FileMaker development experience.
  • Excellent API integration experience
  • Good experience with Tableau integration and management.
  • Good understanding of UI and UX
  • Ruby, MySQL, PHP, XML, Java, HTML, VBA, and Python experience is a plus but not required.
  • Advanced data relationship skills and knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel - Power Query, PowerPoint, and Visio a plus)
  • Good working knowledge of AWS services.
