Senior Software Developer (FX IT) C# Orchestrade

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with exceptional C# skills with knowledge of the Orchestrade vendor product, FX cash products, and FX derivative products. This role involves not only day-to-day coding but also providing technical leadership and mentoring within the Orchestrade product and FX options and cash business domains. The successful candidate will be technically proficient, possess excellent collaboration skills, and have the ability to manage specific deliveries which include some project management aspects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in an IT-related subject with substantial experience in software development.
  • Highly experienced in C# and Orchestrade development, particularly within a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience working with traders, quants, and risk managers in an investment banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, RDBMS, and messaging middleware.
  • Proficient in agile project delivery, dev/ops, and continuous integration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Desirable: C++ and Java development experience, experience with the FIX protocol and web services interfaces, and some French language skills.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Develop code within the FX Cash IT team for FX forward, swap, and NDF products.
  • Collaborate with the FX Options IT team to develop code for FX derivative and precious metal products.
  • Engage in additional FX IT projects as required.
  • Provide Level 3 support for our production Orchestrade system.
  • Integrate connected systems such as Sigma, Barracuda, Asgard, CIBOS, Deal Hub with Orchestrade.
  • Advise on the best architectural approaches for integrating Orchestrade with other systems.
