We're recruiting on behalf of an IT Services Provider who are looking for a Guidewire Developer to join their team; in this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications using Guidewire's suite of products.
As a Guidewire Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Design, code, and test new functionalities and enhancements in Guidewire applications.
- Customize Guidewire solutions to align with business requirements.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
- Integrate Guidewire with other enterprise systems for seamless operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
- Optimise application performance for scalability and reliability.
- Follow best practices in coding and development.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Excellent experience in Guidewire tools.
- Strong knowledge of Java, SQL, and familiarity with Gosu programming language.
- Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and integration techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and build tools such as Maven and Ant.
