Our client is seeking to recruit an IIB Developer on an initial 6 month contract (inside IR35) on a hybrid basis (3x days pw onsite), paying £415 per day.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development, maintenance, and support of critical internal and external interfaces across Europe and North America. The position will sit within the development team responsible for the bank's Middleware applications, focusing on IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain message flows, DFDL message models, and interface processes that support key banking operations.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for internal and external application interfaces.
- Collaborate with application teams and developers to design and deliver optimal interface solutions.
- Support both new development and ongoing maintenance for interfaces integral to the bank's operations.
- Contribute to the creation and updating of technical documentation for all interface processes.
- Assist in code reviews to ensure quality and efficiency in all deliverables.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong experience in IBM ACE/IIB (Integration Bus) development.
- Proficiency in Middleware applications with a strong understanding of interface processes.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting, production support, and issue resolution within a complex financial environment.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the business.
