Role: Infrastructure Engineer  

Salary: £44,000

Role Type: FTC (2 years)  

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of all IT Spaces, including data centres and communications rooms
  • Assist in the implementation of tech changes across the IT infrastructure
  • Respond to tickets, service requests and change requests 
  • Assist with IT infrastructure security, backup, and monitoring
  • Provide and maintain thorough records, procedures, inventory, and equipment
  • Promote cooperation and open communication with other IT departments

Essential

  • Proven experience working within technical environments such as data centre suites and communication rooms (Technical Spaces)
  • Demonstrated success in an operational and collaborative role, including liaising with third-party providers
  • Experienced in managing and delivering technical projects effectively
  • Strong ability to identify, prioritize, and manage workflows efficiently
  • Ability to convey information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
