IoT Developer - C# - IoT - Azure - Remote role - Digital trust scale up - £60k + Bens

Our requirements:-

As a Mid-Level IoT Developer, you will be responsible for advancing our C# dashboard application, enhancing embedded software for Raspberry Pi devices, and managing Azure IoT infrastructure. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between devices and cloud services. Familiarity with Python and AWS is a plus, as you may occasionally work on related projects.

Complete remote role with quarterly meet-ups and customer site visits.

About the role:-

My customer are a scaling up tech company in the digital trust space and are innovative and utilise leading-edge cloud based solutions.

Experience required:-

Proficiency in C# and .NET framework.

Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.

Familiarity with Azure IoT services and cloud infrastructure.

Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with Linux operating systems.

Experience with containerization technologies like Docker

Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving

issues.

Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply security principles effectively.

Beneficial:-

Python, AWS services

Understanding of PKI functions and services

Experience in a start-up, scale-up environment.

Key responsibilities:-

Develop and maintain the C# dashboard application with a MySQL backend.

Design and implement embedded software for Raspberry Pi-based IoT devices.

Manage and optimize Azure IoT services and infrastructure.

Collaborate with team members to integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software and infrastructure.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.

Assist with Python code on AWS as needed.

Education andqualifications:-

Batchelors degree in computer science, engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.

3 + years software development experience ideally with IoT

Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, communication, and problem solving skills.

You will be a self-starter who is comfortable exploring new areas and learning on the job

An enthusiastic team player who is excited about participating in a Greenfield project

Strong problem solving skills and a creative approach to overcoming challenges

Comfortable in engineering new solutions and enthused by the challenges they bring.
