An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Java Software Engineer to join a highly reputable company whose software products are used by 1000's of customers across the UK. The role offers a hybrid working structure (two days per week in the office on average) and their modern offices are easily accessible via London and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Work across full software development cycle: coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Write secure, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Maintain technical documentation and release notes.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues with root cause analysis.
- Oversee software releases, troubleshooting, and support.
- Perform infrastructure maintenance and improvements.
- Apply architectural patterns for scalable solutions.
- Implement security best practices in development.
- Ensure solutions align with business goals and user needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Java/JEE development, including design, testing, and deployment.
- Experience integrating applications and technologies using Java.
- Proficiency in modern web frameworks and integration tools.
- Strong analytical skills for handling complex data and systems.
