Contract JavaScript Developer
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to client site
Job Type: Contract
Rate: 500 - 550 per day (a status determination assessment has been carried out and the outcome placed the role outside IR35)
Security Clearance: Must be eligible to achieve this
About us
Triad Group Plc is seeking a talented contract JavaScript Developer to join a project working within the UK transportation sector.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code.
- Work closely with designers to implement and enhance user interfaces using Svelte.
- Optimise application performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a JavaScript developer with a focus on Svelte.
- Proficiency in Svelte and it's core principles.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with state management in Svelte and RESTful API integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile (Scrum) environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have experience:
- Experience with distributed system design, and use of Rust-based APIs and Python.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes on Google Cloud Platform.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in JavaScript development with a focus on Svelte.
