  • The successful candidate is expected to have a degree and/or professional qualification.
  • IT skills required - Microsoft C#, SQL & VBA
  • IT skills nice to have - Exposure to web development using ASP.NET and Angular
  • Good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming concepts & Web Application Development
  • Able to write good, simple code following an appropriate logical approach to agreed standards (whether for web, database or desktop applications)
  • Applies industry standard approaches for configuration management and version control to manage code during build and release
  • Good understanding of relational database systems.
  • Able to make simple connections between code and defined data sources
  • Able to functionally test automated output thoroughly before release to the business
  • Follows basic analysis models such as use cases and process maps
  • Understands the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and AGILE management approaches
  • Can create quality output following organisational and industry good coding practices
  • Solves logical problems, seeking assistance when required
  • Ability to navigate the business environment to understand business issues related to software development, and to accurately identify and capture business requirements
  • A good communicator able to clearly articulate the role and function of software components to a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to work as part of a small team
