The Leading Credit Rating Agency is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with a focus on Java, AWS/Azure/GCP, and React for a permanent hybrid role in London.
The position requires at least 8 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a lead developer capacity.
Candidates should have extensive experience with Java and related frameworks, as well as familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
The salary for this role is £115,000, with some flexibility, plus a bonus.
Ideal candidates will also have knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile methodologies, preferably with experience in the Financial Services industry.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in as a lead developer.
Extensive experience with Java and related frameworks and libraries.
Experience with AWS or Azure GCP and microservices architecture.
React experience / Full-stack development experience

Desired

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes / EKS-based container orchestration).
Agile practitioner capabilities and experience working with or in Agile teams.
Experience in Financial Services industry.
