This position is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Python Developer who is passionate about working on Generative AI Projects within the Financial Services industry. Description

Your main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Developing and implementing sophisticated Python applications for Generative AI Projects
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met
  • Assisting in the design and delivery of AI models and applications
  • Conducting thorough testing and debugging to maintain software quality
  • Providing technical guidance and support to other team members
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Documenting all coding and development processes

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

Skills and Experience

  • Technology Experience: Proven track record in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of complex, high-performance, low-latency systems critical to PnL.
  • Industry Background: Several years of python experience with exposure to a front office environment being a benefit
  • Programming Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of programming best practices and design patterns.
  • Messaging Protocols: Familiarity with communication protocols and messaging applications.
  • Database Skills: Proficiency in SQL.
  • Academic Foundation: Strong academic background, ideally in engineering, sciences, or economics.
  • Financial Markets Knowledge: Understanding of Financial Markets, especially FX Options and/or Credit Risk, is beneficial but not required.
  • Adaptability: Quick to learn and adapt within a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Equally effective as a collaborative team member or working independently on individual tasks.
  • Experience With AI and Java as a strong benefit

Job Offer

On offer for a successful candidate is the ability to work in a hybrid format commuting to London twice a week earning up to £925 per day Inside IR35 for an initial 6 months with the strong chance of an extension.
