Job Title: Python Developer
Remuneration: £550 - £600
Contract Length: 6 Months
Are you an experienced Python Developer looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client, a Central Government organisation, is seeking a talented Python Developer to join their team. If you have expertise in Python, Django, JavaScript, and data visualisation, this role is perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
- Utilise your expertise in Python and Django to develop web-based mapping tools.
- Build map visualisations using Leaflet (JavaScript) to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with the team to code both frontend and backend web applications.
- Implement version control and collaborative coding practises using Azure DevOps.
- Deploy web applications and create CI/CD pipelines using Azure cloud technologies.
- Perform ETL processes and work with databases, including MS-SQL.
- Integrate applications with various API's for seamless functionality.
- Ensure web-based accessibility, security, and code testing standards are met.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
- Experience with JavaScript, Leaflet, HTML, and CSS.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Azure cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with MS-SQL and ETL processes.
- Ability to integrate applications with API's.
- Understanding of authentication and authorisation approaches using AAD.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in training team members in Python and Django.
- Knowledge of data visualisation apps.
