Are you an experienced Python Developer looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client, a Central Government organisation, is seeking a talented Python Developer to join their team. If you have expertise in Python, Django, JavaScript, and data visualisation, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise your expertise in Python and Django to develop web-based mapping tools.
  • Build map visualisations using Leaflet (JavaScript) to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with the team to code both frontend and backend web applications.
  • Implement version control and collaborative coding practises using Azure DevOps.
  • Deploy web applications and create CI/CD pipelines using Azure cloud technologies.
  • Perform ETL processes and work with databases, including MS-SQL.
  • Integrate applications with various API's for seamless functionality.
  • Ensure web-based accessibility, security, and code testing standards are met.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Leaflet, HTML, and CSS.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Azure cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with MS-SQL and ETL processes.
