An Ed-tech client of mine is currently looking for a skilled python developer with Django 5 experience who is familiar working in an agile environment.

The client is a London based digital, data and technology agency focused on tertiary education, research and innovation who are looking for a skilled python developer to join them on a remote basis for an initial 3 month period.
Description
Your key responsibilities as a python developer will include but will not be limited to:
- Developing, testing, and deploying robust applications using Python 3.6 and Django 5
- Contributing to an agile development process, embracing Kanban and Scrum methodologies to deliver iterative, high-quality software
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of new features
- Enhancing and maintain scalable back-end and full-stack applications.
- Participating in code reviews, refine user stories, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
Essential Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with Django 5 for web application development.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working (e.g., Kanban, Scrum).
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with Wagtail 6.2 (full-stack development preferred)
- Knowledge of AWS and its services
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and database optimisation
- Front-end skills in CSS and frameworks like Tailwind CSS
Job Offer
On Offer for a successful candidate is the opportunity to earn up to £450 per day working fully remote for an initial 3 month contract with the possibility of an extension.
