Python Developer 12 months contract London / hybrid working

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive Python Development: Over 10 years of relevant software development experience with Python.
  • Behavior-Driven Development: Extensive delivery experience of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and writing testable code.
  • Data Engineering: Useful experience blending data engineering with core software engineering.
  • Additional Programming Skills: Desirable experience with other programming languages (C++, .NET) and frameworks.
  • CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Github Actions is a plus.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS,) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Code Optimization: Proficient in profiling and optimizing Python code.
  • Executable Documentation: Awareness of executable documentation concepts.
  • Trading Application Support: Experience in providing support for trading applications.
  • Databricks: Experience with Databricks is a plus.
  • FastAPI and Async Processing: Proven experience with FastAPI and async processing.
