Technical Skills & Experience:
- Extensive Python Development: Over 10 years of relevant software development experience with Python.
- Behavior-Driven Development: Extensive delivery experience of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and writing testable code.
- Data Engineering: Useful experience blending data engineering with core software engineering.
- Additional Programming Skills: Desirable experience with other programming languages (C++, .NET) and frameworks.
- CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Github Actions is a plus.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS,) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Code Optimization: Proficient in profiling and optimizing Python code.
- Executable Documentation: Awareness of executable documentation concepts.
- Trading Application Support: Experience in providing support for trading applications.
- Databricks: Experience with Databricks is a plus.
- FastAPI and Async Processing: Proven experience with FastAPI and async processing.
General Skills & Experience:
- Domain Knowledge: Critical experience within a finance or trading environment.
