QA Engineer

Robert Half have partnered with a leading real estate firm based in London who are looking for a QA Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping design, implement, and maintain test frameworks, ensuring the stability and performance of their Microsoft Dynamics applications. This role requires a deep understanding of tools, scripting, and best practices in quality assurance.

This role will be a day rate contract (Inside IR35) for an initial 3 month contract with scope to extend to 6 months.

To be considered for this position you must have experience working in Microsoft dynamics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automated test strategies for Microsoft Dynamics applications.
  • Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective test plans.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines incorporate automated testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3+ years in test automation.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O, CE, or Business Central).
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, C#, Tricentis Tosca, or Power Automate.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
