Join our dynamic team as a Salesforce Developer, where you will play a vital role in continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced developers and engage in meaningful projects that align with our guiding principles of technology for good.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide second-line support for Salesforce, addressing technical queries, usability issues, reporting, events, system integration, and change requests.
- Develop and administer Salesforce and its associated clouds, including Sales, Service, Experience, CPQ, and Communications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these into development tasks.
- Enhance customer experience by consulting on system functionality and usability.
- Deliver quality work on time, meeting estimates and achieving first-time pass through QA.
- Create and run unit tests, participate in peer testing, and conduct both manual and automated tests to ensure work meets customer expectations and quality standards.
- Demonstrate application features to stakeholders both in person and online.
- Follow internal processes for managing software development lifecycle, from initial design to feature releases and bug fixes.
- Provide system development and administration on Jira and maintain system documentation.
- Proficiency in Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning components.
- Strong ability to design, deliver, and test system developments.
- Experience deploying configurations into live environments.
- Understanding of IT security principles.
- Demonstrable experience in a technical support or customer-facing role.
- Salesforce certification (e.g., Platform Developer I) or relevant Trailhead badges.
- Experience with Salesforce SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, or CPQ is essential.
- Familiarity with additional technologies like Experience Cloud, CommsCloud, Copado, Conga, and Adobe Sign is beneficial but not essential.
