Working with a FTSE 100 retail client who are looking for a SAS Developer to assist on a project transferring SAS processes to databricks (in SQL).

SAS Developer, responsibilities:

Transferring SAS processes to Databricks (in SQL)
Testing both to ensure accurate, and making sure that code is simplified where possible
Document and in a state to be able to be picked up by the team
Updates to existing SQL code
Work autonomously and good communication as it's a particularly complex bit of work.

SAS Developer, key skills:

Extensive skills in SAS and SQL
Experience translating complex SAS code to SQL
Exposure to pricing within general insurance
Strong data management and data manipulation skills.
Experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, and optimisation techniques.
Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
