Senior AWS Platform Engineer - SC Cleared

£500.00 to £600.00 Per Day - Inside IR35
Location: hybrid working - 3 days in the London office
Current active SC Clearance required (used in last 12 months)Essential skills/experience:
- Current active SC clearance
- Experience leading a small team of engineers and supporting as the technical owner of a project
- AWS Platform DevOps, Infrastructure Automation & Deployment experience
- Demonstrable experience in automating operations tasks with one or more scripting languages
- Experience creating and/or maintaining production software delivery pipelines using common CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, CircleCI)
- Experience working with AWS (Azure/GCP experience is advantageous)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
- A good understanding of Cloud security principles (e.g. IAM, KMS, AzureAD, Security Groups)
- Experience mentoring/managing junior engineers
Desirable:
- Experience supporting and operating production systems
- Familiarity with configuration management tooling (e.g. Ansible)
- Data Transformation tools
- Python coding skills
