Our DevOps Team

The DevOps team plays a critical role in minimizing operational risk and enhancing the efficiency of our broader technology organization. By focusing on identifying and exploiting automation opportunities, we manage both development pipeline and production environment automation, including continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring. Our team collaborates closely with the Core Architecture team to evolve and scale our systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our growing business.

As a DevOps Engineer, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Infrastructure and Environment Automation:
    • Owning, managing, and maintaining our Continuous Integration infrastructure
    • Developing our monitoring and diagnostics solutions
    • Delivering end-user automation solutions

You'll Need to Have:

  • Experience with PowerShell or another scripting language
  • Proficiency in C#, Java, or Python, with prior history as a developer or the ability to code
  • Experience with Infrastructure As Code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like ELK, Grafana, or equivalent
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically TeamCity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience in both Windows and Linux administration
  • A-Levels at grade A*/A/B (or international equivalent) and a minimum 2.1 degree in Computer Science or a related field from a Russell Group University

We Would Also Like You to Have:

  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Bitbucket and JIRA
  • Experience with artifact storage using Artifactory
  • Familiarity with Octopus Deploy
  • Experience with static analysis tools like SonarQube
  • Understanding of Control-M
  • Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience with VMware (vSphere) and SAN
