Salt are recruiting for an immediate requirement with a central government client of ours who is looking for a SC Cleared Senior Python Developer.
This will be an Inside IR35 contract for 6 months initially (this can be extended) with a rate set at £600. It would be a mainly remote role with 1 or 2 days a month expected in office, based in Exeter.
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of developing and testing software using Python with industry standard patterns.
- Good knowledge and experience of using AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, StepFunctions, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, APIGateway, RDS, CloudWatch) within production level IT Systems.
- Proven knowledge and experience of building and deploying software into an AWS environment using CDK, codeBuild, codePipeline, Terraform
- Experience of using GitHub workflows.
- Experience of working in an Agile, cross functional customer-centric working environment.
- Excellent communication skills that foster good working relationships with developers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to support, mentor and train junior developers.
- Experience and understanding of Aviation based weather data and products.
- Previous experience of building HTMX applications
Candidate's who do not hold an existing SC clearance will be rejected automatically.
