My client, a leading FinTech business, is hiring for a dynamic and experienced .NET Software Developer to join the team on a fully remote basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and experienced team dedicated to building high-quality, FS products.

The Role:

This full-time, permanent position involves working closely with a talented group of developers and engineers, reporting to the Head of Engineering. You will play a crucial role in developing and architecting new products, ensuring best practices in development and testing, and driving continuous improvement within the team.

Key Duties:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and applications.
  • Drive development best practices and ensure high performance and quality in the codebase.
  • Engage in proactive problem-solving and quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in .NET Framework, including C#, MVC, and Web API.
  • Strong understanding of SQL databases.
  • Knowledge of version control (GIT) and continuous integration/deployment processes, including Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit and integration tests.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex issues.
  • Effective communication skills to express ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience using Blazor.
  • Proficiency with Azure (including Azure Service Bus, Functions, and Blob Storage).
  • Familiarity with a range of databases, including SQL and NoSQL (particularly Cosmos DB).
  • Knowledge of various Coding Design and Architectural Patterns, such as CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
  • Experience with Event Sourcing.
  • Exposure to mobile development, particularly in Xamarin/MAUI.
