Duties
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise with Python, API development, LLM experience and familiarity with SQL databases and cloud technology.
You’ll be a member of a global team working on GenAI initiatives, based in one of our European offices. Our Client’s Tech Ecosystem function is responsible for developing and delivering all technology solutions for the firm’s internal use.
You will work in a product team with engineers, designers and product managers doing application development with an with the purpose delivering impactful AI solutions leveraging the best of the data within the Firm.
Skills
As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will be at the forefront of our firm's Generative AI initiatives. Your role will involve writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining application code using Python, React and NextJS as well as SQL expertise. You will leverage industry leading LLMs to drive data retrieval and synthesis.
Mandatory
- Software Engineer (5 years minimum experience preferably)
- Strong programming skills in Python. (3+ years)
- Expertise in React and NextJS (1+ years)
- Expertise with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL (3+ years)
Good To Have:
- Experience utilizing LLMs and prompt engineering
- Experience with VectorDBs
- Familiarity in using AWS cloud platform for deploying and managing applications, particularly AWSECS
