Job Title: Senior Systems EngineerLocation: LondonWork Model: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) Type -Permanent role.My client is a leading quantitative trading firm, specializing in the development of cutting-edge technology and strategies to trade financial markets globally. They are looking for a Systems engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical standardization and implementation for high-frequency crypto trading on AWS.
- Optimize performance in both bare-metal and cloud environments (Linux-based).
- Manage and integrate systems across on-premise and cloud platforms.
- Develop automation tools/scripts using Python.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Salt, or similar tools.
- Focus on network latency optimization for efficient trading performance.
Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in Solutions Architect or Cloud SRE roles, with advanced AWS expertise.
- Proficient in Linux system administration and network configurations.
- Strong Python skills for automation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Salt.
- Solid networking knowledge with AWS and on-premise systems.
