Job Title: SITS Developer based in London with hybrid working options.
This is a 6-month contract position offering a salary of £500 per day.
The role requires proven experience as an SITS Developer or in a similar role within higher education.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of SRL, SQL, and XML, along with familiarity in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with SITS upgrades and migrations is desirable, along with an understanding of student lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and maintain the SITS:Vision student records system to meet institutional requirements
Utilize SRL and SQL for data extraction, reporting, and automation
Design and implement eVision Tasking, Vistas, and StuTalk workflows to streamline student and administrative processes
Integrate SITS with third-party systems using APIs, web services, and middleware solutions
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with institutional and regulatory policies
Participate in software upgrades, testing, and system migrations
Document system configurations, customizations, and development processes

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as an SITS Developer or in a similar role within higher education
Strong knowledge of SRL, SQL, and XML
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end customizations
Understanding of data integration techniques and system interoperability

Desirable Skills

Experience with SITS upgrades and migrations
Knowledge of student lifecycle processes in higher education
Experience with Agile development methodologies
