SITS Developer Analyst

  • Take a technical lead role in the development of student information applications, data integration, and work-flow design for a range of projects and other data integration services.
  • You will assist in creating and developing strategies and standards for both new and existing service designs, ensuring that these process developments are fully integrated into the environment and support the University's business processes.
  • Develop and maintain forward-looking road maps and plans that align with the functional department's strategy and tactical initiatives.
  • Develop software using specialist programming techniques and in-depth technical expertise; developed and tested software should be capable of deployment to a User Acceptance Testing environment using documented release procedures.
  • Be responsible for the delivery and overall quality of the best technical software solutions to meet customer's needs and business requirements.
  • Actively test developed software to identify potential faults and make decisions on the most appropriate and effective technical approaches for resolving specific issues, as the technical expert.
  • Make a significant contribution to test strategies and plans as determined by the project, through the definition of test cases and scenarios and providing expert input into test strategies.
