We鈥檙e looking for a Software Development Engineer who will help us create the testing platform for on device testing of Video content. In this role, you will work as a part of the Living Room Device Services backend team working closely with cross-functional team of engineers to develop, test, learn, and iterate on solutions in a fast-paced environment.
The Living Room Device Services team is responsible for abstracting away the complexity for housing and maintaining highly available access to test and programmatically control over 800 Living Room devices types globally. As a Software Engineer on our team, you will develop and maintain an automated testing platform that scales efficiently across our diverse Living Room device ecosystem. This platform transforms what would be unmanageable manual testing into streamlined, programmatic operations. You will collaborate with expert developers to design and implement robust APIs, troubleshoot and optimize testing infrastructure, and implement scalable endurance testing mechanisms
Key Responsibilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Design software services using Typescript and introduce new features on top of existing services.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Implement robust and maintainable code with clear documentation and review it with peers. Deploy your code using CI/CD pipelines.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Deliver customer value in iterative fashion to solve roadmap goals with increasing efficiency.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Communicate status and changes to the work they are responsible and accountable for, keep all stakeholders informed of changes and updates to original plan.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Implement test automation on all code implemented through unit testing and integration testing.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Provide operational support to the team by being part of the oncall rotation.
