A leading asset manager in London is hiring a Software Development Manager to lead their front office team. Paying up to £130k base plus bonuses up to 30% you will be based out of their city of London offices 3 days a week.
You will be responsible for the leadership of their technology, projects and people within the front office team that work on their cloud based platform. You will lead the existing software development team but also be responsible for the growth of a 2nd team as the business plans to build a new investment data platform.
You will have experience leading a team within technology at a financial organisation and have strong business knowledge within investment and asset management.
Key skills and experience:
- Experience leading teams of 5-10 people plus
- Project management responsibilities e.g. Agile, Scrum
- Software development experience ideally in python or Java
- Manage all phases of software development life cycle from requirements gathering, design, implementation to testing and deployment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience in building data analytics platforms in investment and asset management domain
