This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Development Manager to drive innovation, ensure top-tier code quality, and develop engaging video streaming solutions used by high-profile brands worldwide.

About the Role:I'm looking for an experienced Team/Lead Software Development Manager with a strong background in frontend development, ideally from an Android or iOS development environment. This position is responsible for leading the frontend software development function, currently composed of seven in-house developers and some outsourced resources, covering platforms including Apple, Android, Roku, connected TV, and web.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Define and implement software architecture, drive best practices, and ensure code quality across all frontend teams.
  • Team Development: Motivate, mentor, and conduct one-on-ones to help each developer grow, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Project & Release Management: Work closely with Scrum Masters and QA teams to manage releases and enhance automated testing integration.
  • Collaboration & Process Optimization: Partner with delivery and development teams to streamline task allocation, refine requirements, and enhance project planning accuracy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Leadership: 2+ years in a comparable management role with a track record of motivating and maximizing team performance.
  • Technical Expertise: 8+ years in software development, including frontend platforms (e.g., Android, iOS, Roku, connected TV).
  • Hands-On with Code: Strong knowledge in code review and release management best practices.
  • Problem-Solver: Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written skills in English, with proficiency in documentation tools like Confluence.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of video streaming and the media sector.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS is a plus).
