Description

  • Ensure all tasks are undertaken within the spirit of the Institute's purpose and values.
  • Significant relevant experience of JavaScript, Python, Django.
  • Support our data environment and ensure all data flows between systems are accurate.
  • Provide support to staff on all systems
  • Ensuring the security of the software design. This includes implementing robust security policies and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for handling and managing data.
  • Continuously seek to expand a range of skills in accommodating changes in the wider data access and technical landscape.
  • As required by the Head of IT Services, undertake tasks that relate to accessibility, attendance management and learning management system quality standards.
  • Maintain and support Office 365 environment (Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams etc)
  • Use all IT systems appropriately and effectively, to include SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.

Profile

Qualifications

  • Microsoft 365 certfication
  • Post Graduate degree in IT
  • ITIL certification
  • Full stack developer certification preferred

Experience and attributes

  • A thorough understanding of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and work positively with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to work independently as well as take direction and work collaboratively across divisional and departmental boundaries.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise.
