Software Engineer A widely respected City based insurance company are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to drive the modernization of legacy platforms and enhance data capabilities.This role involves developing web applications, APIs, and data pipelines, improving data quality, and deploying machine learning models when required. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain robust Python-based web applications, APIs, and data pipelines. Enhance data quality by identifying and resolving data management issues. Architect and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure technologies. Ensure seamless data processing using SQL, dbt, and PySpark/Databricks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business goals. Define technical architecture, document designs, and create unit test scripts. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient software deployment. Support agile development workflows and maintain version control using Git.Required QualificationsExtensive experience in software engineering with expertise in Python, SQL, and web frameworks. Multiple yearsof experience working with Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in REST API development and Python-based web frameworks. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jira.
