  • Collaborate with PMs and Designers to define feature specifications and build next-generation consumer-facing features using React.
  • Independently design, develop, and complete large features end-to-end, taking ownership of key system areas.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements to codebases, product areas, and system performance.
  • Work with Health & Foundations and infrastructure teams to maintain a sustainable and high-performance app.
  • Mentor teammates by identifying inefficiencies, driving solutions, and improving team productivity.
  • Build front-end frameworks to enable faster, higher-quality product development across teams.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable web applications, implementing robust UI components.
  • Ensure performance optimisation and seamless user experiences at scale.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience designing and completing medium-to-large features independently
  • 3+ years of experience identifying and implementing application improvements
  • Hands-on experience using React
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong experience in building reusable, high-performance UI components
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented JavaScript Frameworks
  • Experience with architectural design for complex front-end systems
  • Proven ability to build testable and maintainable codebases, including API design and unit testing
  • Strong debugging and performance benchmarking skills
  • Experience in developing and launching large-scale web applications supporting millions of users
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Package:
  • Day rate - £400-450pd PAYE
