Software Engineer (Developer) - Predominately Remote (1 day a month in the office)

Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development & Quality: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, ensuring high standards through best practices and regular code reviews.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance, expertise, and mentorship to the product squad and junior developers.
- Architecture & Process Improvement: Implement robust architectures, drive continuous improvement, and adopt new tools and technologies.
- Problem-Solving: Investigate, resolve, and prevent software issues through root cause analysis and performance monitoring.
- Collaboration & Agile Practices: Work with cross-functional teams, end-users, and suppliers to deliver solutions on time, using Agile methodologies.
- Documentation & Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation and uphold software development and security standards.
- Supplier Management: Manage third-party technology supplier relationships and ensure effective support utilization.
Your Profile:
- Proficient in programming languages like Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Spring.
- Familiar with low-code/no-code tools and workflow automation technologies (e.g., Power Automate, Synatic, K2).
- Experienced in Agile tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Ideally some working knowledge of SQL, Azure Data Tools, Data Engineering methodologies
- A critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled communicator capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record in software development and mentoring junior team members.
This will predominately be based from home but the client does have an office in Central London and on average 1-2 times a month the Tech team get together for Workshops
