Software Engineer / Developer (JavaScript OpenUI) London / WFH to £70k

Are you a bright, ambitious Software Engineer with strong front end JavaScript skills?

You could be progressing your career at a global Investment Management company.

As a Software Engineer you'll focus on building UI components on top of a no-code platform using JavaScript and OpenUI. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, liaising with users to gain a full understanding of requirements and configuring new automated processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand. You'll also work with 3rd party vendors and oversee development fixes to the systems, ensuring they are implemented correctly.

The role offers the opportunity to take ownership, work directly with users and excellent career progression.

WFH Policy:

There's a hybrid work from home policy with three days in the London office per week.

About you:

  • You have strong JavaScript skills and a good knowledge of APIs
  • You have a good knowledge of SQL databases
  • You have a good understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to illustrate a written process description as a workflow diagram
  • You have a good appreciation of user interface design
  • You're able to understand and convey complex technical information to non-technical users
  • You have experience within a financial services / banking environment
  • Experience with OpenUI would be great but you can also pick it up on the job if you have previous experience with React or Angular
